Caroline Lauth

Caroline discovered a love of the outdoors at a young age during summers spent at YMCA Camp Widjiwagan in the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. After several years as a camper at Widjiwagan, she returned to lead backpacking and canoe trips as a staff member. Last summer she led Widji’s longest trip, a 6-week-long river expedition in the Canadian Arctic. She currently works at the Outdoor Academy, a semester school in North Carolina where she leads high school sophomores on rock climbing, canoeing, and backpacking trips.¬†Caroline loves empowering young adults to discover they are capable of more than they expected and hopes to foster in participants a love of the natural world.¬†She is excited to get to know a new camp culture and explore the New England wilderness.
