The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for capturing the magic that happens at Cragged Mountain Farm through photographs and video. They will work closely with the director to portray and promote Cragged in a positive light on the web.
The most important part of the Digital Marketing Manager’s job is posting to the blog every day of the summer. We want to show everyone, parents and friends alike, what we’re up to and how much fun we’re having! This means taking pictures of activities during the day, writing entries about what cabins got up to, and coordinating with trip leaders to get photographs from wilderness trips as well when they are not out of camp. Extra posts from alumni, parents, or staff are expected as well. Experience working with wordpress.com is preferred, but willingness to learn upon arrival at CMF works as well.
Facebook and Instagram:
The Digital Marketing Manager is also expected to maintain the Facebook and Instagram accounts of Cragged Mountain Farm. This means posting links to the blog and posting photos for everyone to enjoy.
The culmination of the summer’s media is on the last night of camp when we show a slide show of the summer. The Digital Marketing Manager is expected to construct this slide show in a manner that is entertaining, appropriate, and allows for all campers and staff to be recognized and appreciated.
