About the Job
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for capturing the magic that happens at Cragged Mountain Farm through photographs and video. They will work closely with the Camp Director to portray and promote Cragged Mountain Farm in a positive light on the web.
The most important part of the Digital Marketing Manager’s job is posting to the blog every day of the summer. We want to show everyone, parents and friends alike, what we’re up to and how much fun we’re having! This means walking around camp each day to take pictures of activities, writing entries about what cabins got up to that day, and coordinating with trip leaders to get photographs from overnight trips. Every camper needs to be represented in each blog post. Reaching out to the CMF community to spotlight extra posts from alumni, parents, or staff are expected as well.
Facebook and Instagram:
The Digital Marketing Manager is also expected to maintain the Facebook and Instagram accounts of Cragged Mountain Farm. This means posting links to the blog and posting photos for everyone to enjoy each day.
The culmination of the summer’s media is on the last night of camp when we show a slide show of the summer. The Digital Marketing Manager is expected to construct this slide show in a manner that is entertaining, appropriate, and allows for all campers and staff to be recognized and appreciated.
-Background in photography or media relations preferred.
-Background in marketing a plus.
-Interest in working with kids or in the field of education.
-Experience working with wordpress preferred, but not required.
-Excellent time management skills.
-Willingness to reach out to the camp community for content.
