About the Job
Kitchen Staff reports to the Camp Cook and their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, washing dishes, setting and waiting tables, sweeping and mopping the dining rooms, unloading food during deliveries, assisting in meal preparation, supervising campers in the kitchen during cooking activities, waking up early, and actively being a part of the camp community beyond the kitchen. Additionally, Kitchen Staff may be asked to cover cabins when counselors have days off; this would mean you would go through a normal camp day with the campers and sleep in the cabin that night.
There are 2 scheduled hours of break per day and one 24 hour day off per week. Compensation varies based on experience, certifications, and performance (please note that lodging and food are provided for the full duration of employment). Kitchen Staff are usually 16+ years of age.

-No past kitchen experience required.

-Willingness to comply with kitchen safety protocol.
-Ability to be on feet for long stretches of time.
