Maintenance Staff

About the Job
Maintenance Staff reports to the Camp Director and their responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning bathrooms and shower houses each day, cleaning community spaces each day, monitoring water jug levels and cup dispensers, monitoring trashcan levels, taking trash and recycling to the dump as needed, unloading food during deliveries, and odd jobs as needed. Additionally, Maintenance Staff may be asked to cover cabins when counselors have days off; this would mean you would go through a normal camp day with the campers and sleep in the cabin that night.

There are 2 scheduled hours of break per day and one 24 hour day off per week. Compensation varies based on experience, certifications, and performance (please note that lodging and food are provided for the full duration of employment). Maintenance Staff are usually 16+ years of age.

Qualifications
-No past maintenance experience required.
-Interest in working with kids.
-Willingness to be part of a team.
-Ability to be on feet for long stretches of time.
-Drivers license preferred.
