Hi! I’m Ruby, I’m from Cranston Rhode Island and I’ve spent 14 summers at Cragged since 2002! I was introduced to Cragged as a baby while my father was the camp doctor, became a camper when I was old enough, and the completed the Allagash (led by Brian Quarrier) and the Allagashcot trips. The most influential hike at Cragged for me was during the Allgashcot, the summit of Mt. Katahdin, it reminded me of how far I’ve come and what I couldn’t possibly have expected.

I love the outdoors and I have an addiction to my camera. I also have a hard time staying away from art and pottery, I’ll be attending the Maine College of Art and Design in Portland in the fall and plan on studying abroad while enrolled. I will be working toward a Graphic Design degree along with a minor in the 3D arts. After or during college I will be exploring courses at neighboring schools for psychology or linguistics.

Cragged is a second home to me and I can’t wait to be a part of it again this year!
