This Week’s Trips

Friday, July 20th

A warm sunny day was a perfect way to welcome everyone back to camp. By the afternoon, Cabin 2 and Wilderness had returned and washed up at the lake. It is great to listen to the tales of the trail and laugh about funny anecdotes. Having a full camp again makes us feel like we are where we should be, all together on this lovely mountain.

A Look At This Weeks Trips

Cabin 4 was off on a journey in the Kingsman Range. They had a foggy summit of one of the Kinsman’s that felt like standing in a cloud. A little rain caught them on the middle day but they were able to stay dry.

Cabin Woodshed conquered the Great Gulf Wilderness and summited Mount Madison on a beautiful day! The boys crushed the ridge walking and had a great lunch at the Madison Hut.

Cabins 10, 12 and ZA went to Maine and tackled Aziscohos Lake! Many came back saying it was one of their favorite Cragged trips, filled with sunsets and friends.

Cabin 2 returned from 13 Falls! They had a long first day hiking in, but the second day was spent playing around the waterfalls, jumping into freezing cold water and enjoying it.

Cabin 3 and 7 came back from Hermit Lake singing songs and laughing with broad smiles.  They spent time around the shelter and wandering in the woods exploring the land around them.

Wilderness returned!! We are so happy to have them back in camp helping out at assembly and making camp feel whole.
